How to Enable Chat for a Hybrid Event in Zuddl

Chat is an essential feature in any event which allows attendees to send text messages to anyone (fellow attendees, speakers, and organizers) in an event and increase engagement between attendees. You can enable attendees to chat with other attendees, speakers, and organizers in an event-wide chatroom. Chat messages are visible to everyone at the event. The Chat tab can be found on the sidebar as shown below.


To enable chat:
  1. Go to Event setup > Engagement.
  2. Turn on the toggle button inside the Chat card. Chat is turned on by default for all new events.

  3. Select the Attendees can react to chat message for attendees checkbox if required.
  4. Select the Moderate chat checkbox, if you want the chat messages sent by attendees to be approved by a moderator first.
