How to View Insights and Resend Emails for a Virtual Event

You can now view insights for custom communication emails

Functionality available after 2 July 2024
This functionality is applicable for the custom communications created after 2 July, 2024
To view insights
  1. Go to Communication > Custom and click on the more option button
  2. Click View insights.

  3. On the insights page, you can view the different statuses of the email and the count for each status. The  statuses are as given below:
    StatusDescription
    DeliveredShows the number of emails that was successfully delivered to the recipient email server. This doesn't mean that the email was received in the recipient email inbox but that it was accepted by their email server. 
    OpenedShows the number of emails that was successfully received and opened by the recipient
    DeferredShows the number of emails for which the receiving server delayed acceptance. The server will retry sending later.

    This happens usually due server issues or temporary network problems.
    BouncedShows the number of emails that was not delivered to the recipient and has returned back to sender

    The recipient’s email address will also be suppressed by the server going forward.

    BlockedShows the number of emails which has been rejected by the email server because of the content in the email.

    The recipient’s email address will not be suppressed by the server going forward.
    UnsubscribedShows the number of recipients who have unsubscribed to emails for the same event.
You can only view insights for a completed, active, and trigger-based custom communication. 

Resend emails


To resend emails to selected recipients
  1. Search for the relevant recipients from the list using filters such as Audiences and Email status. All the email statuses are listed in the dropdown.

  2. The recipient list gets populated based on your selection. You can also search manually by their email address.
  3. Before sending out the email, you can click on the Email preview button to review your email. 
  4. Select the people and click Send to recipients button. This resends the email to all the selected people. You can use this option to resend email based on the status.
