Simulive is a feature that empowers event organizers to schedule and automate webinars by using pre-recorded videos.
With Simulive, webinars start automatically at a predefined time without requiring organizers to manually initiate them from the backstage. This eliminates the need for the organizer to be present, ensuring a seamless and hassle-free experience.
Setting up Simulive
Follow these steps to set up Simulive:
- In the webinar setup, go to the Webinar details page and toggle on Simulive.
- Select a suitable Start time for the Simulive to begin. This Start time must be within the scheduled duration of the webinar.
- Upload a Webinar video (MP4 file, up to 12 GB). This video will automatically be played at the Simulive Start time. The video duration must be less than the webinar duration, and it must finish playing before the webinar end time.
- Click Save to save your changes.
Using Simulive from Studio
You can manage the Simulive webinar from the Studio backstage. The uploaded Webinar video starts playing automatically at the scheduled Simulive Start time.
You can use filler images or videos before the Simulive video starts playing, and the Simulive webinar data is also passed to integrations just like a regular webinar.
- In the Studio backstage, a countdown shows the time left till the Simulive Start time.
- To make any changes once the video starts playing, you can exit Simulive mode and run the webinar manually.
- When the Simulive video finishes playing, it will be removed from the stage in 5 seconds. The webinar will also end automatically in 15 seconds.
