The following are the technical specifications for hosting or attending an event on Zuddl. These include system, browser, and connectivity specifications for the minimum, recommended, and best event experience. They also delineate the specifications for attendees and organizers.
| Level | Processor | Memory | Support |
|---|---|---|---|
| Minimum (for attendees) | Quad-core | 8GB | |
| Recommended (Minimum for Organizers) | Octa-core | 16GB | Smoother experience for a stage with 4 speakers |
| Best experiences | Octa-core | >16GB | HD Video and 4+ stage speakers |
Note:
Zuddl events are best experienced on a laptop or a desktop. Nevertheless, you can also attend sessions on your mobile devices with limited interactivity. If you are an organizer, we strongly recommend that you use a laptop or desktop to host your events on Zuddl.
Zuddl works well with the latest version of Chrome (76 or higher). Zuddl relies on H.264 codec for supporting WebRTC-based routing. Upgrade to the latest version of Google Chrome.
Highly Recommended
It is highly recommended that you use your browser’s update functionality to update to the latest version.
| Browser | Minimum version | Recommended version | Best experience | Platform |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chrome (Recommended) | Version 76 or higher | v.94 | macOS10+Windows 7+ | |
| Safari | Version 11 or higher | Latest (-1) | macOS10+ | |
| Microsoft Edge | Version 80 or higher | macOS10+Windows 7+ |
Browser Limitation
In some versions of the Safari browser, the audio output/speaker selection option shows only System Default Speaker Device in the list.
With all the interactivity the platform offers, having a stable internet connection with adequate speed becomes essential for an optimal in-meeting experience. If you are an organizer, ensure that your browser allows you to stream media.
You can run a speed test to know your network speed. If you’d be using the same network for your event, Zuddl checks for your internet speed, browser compatibility, audio, and video requirements upon entry for a seamless experience throughout.

The required internet speed based on the experience is shown in the table below:
| Property | Minimum Speed (Mbps)) | Recommended (Mbps)) | Best Experience (Mbps) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Uplink Speed | 4 | 8 | >20 |
| Downlink Speed | 3 | 8 | >20 |
Note: For organizers, the minimum internet speed is
| Speed (Mbps) | Resolution |
|---|---|
| 3 - 5 | 480p |
| 10 and above | 720p |
| 20 and above | 1080p (only on request basis) |
| Speed (Mbps) | Resolution |
|---|---|
| 5 - 8 | 480p |
| 10 and above | 720p |
| 20 and above | 1080p |
The above table data is the same for the required upload speed with screen share.
| Name | No. speakers |
|---|---|
| 4 Mbps | 4 |
| 6-7 Mbps | 5 - 9 |
| 20 Mbps | 10 |
| Bitrate (kbps) | Resolution | FPS | Bitrate With Screenshare (Kbps) 2 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 400 - 800 | 360p | 30 | 2000 |
| 600-1200 | 480p | 30 | 900-1800 |
| 260 - 520 | 360p | 15 | 390 - 780 |
Note: The above table is created keeping the number of speakers as 1. As the number of speakers increases the bitrate gets multiplied by a factor of the number of speakers.
