How to Create a Zapier Workflow to Capture Zuddl Activity Data in Bulk

The Zuddl Bulk User Activity trigger passes all attendee activities together. It is sent 1 hour after the event end time.

All the different activities that are captured in an event are described here.

The trigger activates when a user activity is detected.

1. Choose app & event

  1. On your Zuddl dashboard, create a new event.

  2. Now go to your Zapier dashboard, click + Create Zap , and select New Zap.

  3. On the Change trigger screen, search for the Zuddl app and click on the latest version of the Zuddl app.

  4. Under App & event in the Event dropdown, select Bulk User Activity and click Continue.

2. Choose an account

Under the Account section, you need to authenticate the organization. Steps 1 to 4, then choose an account steps are the same as for New Registration activity.

3. Add a Trigger

  1. Under Trigger > Select Activities dropdown field, choose the activities from the Select Activities tab. Refer to the activity table for the description.

    You can only select the activities individually (one-by-one). Only the activities you select will be passed. 
  2. Next, enter your Event Id and click Continue.

  3. Go back to Zuddl dashboard and copy the event Id from the URL/address bar. For example, https://setup.zuddl.com/event/***y0uralphanum3ricc0d3***/event-setup.

  4. Next, enter your Event Id and click Continue. Go back to Zuddl dashboard and copy the event Id from the URL/address bar. For example, https://setup.zuddl.com/event/***y0uralphanum3ricc0d3***/event-setup.

  5. Optional. You can click on Test Trigger which will show a dummy response as shown below:

    Event Name Name of the event
    Email Email of the attendee
    Location Venue in Zuddl
    Location Ref Name Name for Venue, such as Room 1, Stage B. “Location Ref Name” will be same
    Activity Type Refer to the table above. “ANSWERED_POLL”
    Activity Name Name of the activity such as “Leadership Meet.” Not applicable for time spent activities
    Activity Response 15 minutes. Only applicable input data and time spent
  6. Then, click Continue with selected record button.

  7. Now you can Add an action.

4. Add an action

You can now add any action, for example, let's take the action ‘Outbound Email by Zapier’.


  1. In the Insert Data, you can find all the relevant data as shown below that you add to the subject or body of the email:


  2. Configure your email and click Continue. You can preview the fields with values.

  3. You can choose to Test step or Skip test and Publish the zap

Viewing Zap runs

Click on the Zap runs icon on the side navigation to view the data logs:

If you want to use this data to pass into different fields, use Activity Type such as ‘CTA_CLICKED,’ ‘ASKED_QUESTION,’ etc. the field name and Activity Details are the field value.
User action data, such as Polls Answered, Questions Asked, etc., is passed simultaneously, and the time spent data, such as Total time spent, Time spent in the session, etc. is passed 1 hour after the event.
