Send Registrations From Zuddl to Marketo
An event-level integration is required to sapass all event-specific user data captured by Zuddl to Marketo. For this, a Marketo program should be created to receive all event-specific data on Marketo.
Prerequisite - Create a program on Marketo
To create a new program,
- On your Marketo dashboard, go to Marketing Activities.
- Under Marketing Activities tab, click New Program.
- In the New Program form, enter the following:
- Campaign Folder: Select the appropriate folder for the program.
- Name: Enter a suitable name for the program, say “Acme Events”.
- Program Type: Select Event. This step is critical to the working of this integration.
- Channel: Select a channel as per your requirements.
Description (Optional): Enter a brief description.
- After you’ve completed the form, click Create. This creates a new program on Marketo.
On the program details page, copy the program Id (numerals between ME and A1) from the URL. For example, if the original program Id is ME1234A1, copy just the numbers in the middle. This program Id is used to connect the program with a Zuddl event.
- Inside the Zuddl dashboard, go to the connected event then inside event setup, go to Integrations.
On the Marketo card, click Customize on the Export section to configure the event-level settings. The Export section shows a Disabled status before turning on the integration.
Under the Program ID tab, select the Use program ID option to paste the program ID copied from the program URL in Step 5. This establishes the connection to your Marketo account.
Alternatively, if you’ve added a base program during installation, you can select the Use base program settings option. This is a one-time setting. Learn how to add a base program.
Enter the base program details:Zuddl alias (base program): The reference name for the base program that you've set during installation.
